For the eighth year in a row, the General Secretariat of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment has participated in the activities of the 53rd Cairo International Book Fair, under the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and acting Minister of Health and Population.
Two wings have been allocated for the secretariat this year, the first in Hall No. (1) and the second in Hall (2), Suite C21.
 The community outreach team of the Ministry of Health and Population in Cairo Governorate made its efforts to introduce the services provided by the Secretariat and raise awareness of mental health in attempts to remove the stigma of mental illness among the exhibition’s audience, and distributed the Secretariat’s free publications to them throughout the exhibition.
