The General Secretariat for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment, in cooperation with the National AIDS Control Program and the network specialized in implementing harm reduction programs in the Middle East and North Africa, held a training course, the first of its kind, for addiction treatment service providers in 6 of the secretariat’s largest hospitals. The General Public for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment to learn about harm reduction policies, and guidelines for implementing the opiate alternative treatment program, in implementation of Ministerial Resolution No. (640) for the year 2020 to implement harm reduction policies, and the first batch of trainees included 20 trainees, and the second part of the training will be held in February Next, God willing, for the rest of the hospitals.
