Training sessions of the General Secretariat for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment, to enhance the competence of the medical teams working in the hospitals of the Secretariat, in cooperation with the International Migration Organization IOM, where the Secretariat organized a training course titled "Advanced training in drug uses in psychology of medicine for children and teenagers".

The two-day training course was held at Grand Plaza Hotel in Alexandria Governorate, with the attendance of 30 trainees from three secretariat hospitals: Al Abbasiya, New Egypt and Al-Mamoura.

On the other hand, in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, as part of the World Anti-Drug Day celebration, the General Secretariat for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment conducted a two-day training course for the medical teams of the first phase hospitals of "medicine" The treatment program is based on alternatives to opioids, which are hospitals: Al Abbasiya, Misr Heli and Ma'amoura. At the Grand Plaza Hotel in Alexandria.

During the course, the therapeutic team of doctors and nurses were trained on the guidelines to apply the program.

Trained up by Dr. Raghada Al-Jamel, Director of Addiction Treatment Department, Wd. Mahmoud Al-Habibi, the coordinator of the national project at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

The course was attended by the three former mentioned hospitals.
